Current exports include alumina, woodchips, mineral sands, spodumene and silica sand and imports include caustic soda and mineral sands. Exports and imports operational space on land serving multiple berths with a maximum 11.6m draft plus tide.
The Port is 180km south of Perth, 17km from the Strategic Industrial Area at Kemerton and is served by a direct road connection to industrial parks at Wellington, Picton. The port is also served by some rail and is a key facilitator in WA’s supply chain.
The Port is currently served by seven berths with capacity to increase with landholdings of more than 482ha and opportunity for the development of port-related enterprises.
