The region offers affordability and lifestyle, boasting superb restaurants and a thriving arts community, national parks, beaches, wineries and eco-tourism sites that have credited the South West region as the most popular tourist destination outside Perth.

With its relative proximity to Perth and access to excellent transport links, the region is well placed for continued growth. The region includes 12 local government areas and is divided into three sub-regions; Bunbury Wellington, Vasse, and Warren Blackwood.
